UC Web Browser Push Notification - All you need to know is here!

Browser push notifications are concise clickable messages sent by a website or a mobile site to its consenting users, even when the said website or browser window is not running.

No UC Web browser doesn't support browser push in entirety, it only supports notifications from Facebook. Why ? Let's see

UC Browser is the 3rd most used app in India after Facebook and WhatsApp, according to a report released by The Information based on data provided by Quettra.

According to the report, Indian users spend five million more monthly hours on UC Browser than on Chrome. UC Browser also outruns the app of Google in terms of total monthly hours spent in India. Apart from UC Browser, UC Browser Mini and UC Browser HD are among the top 6 browser app list in India.

In another report UC browser has been announced as "world's largest third party mobile browser.

Facebook and UC Web browser partner up for push notifications within the browser

Owing to this Facebook has partnered with UC Browser  to provide push notifications within the browser.

UC Browser users can get instant Facebook push notifications on their phone after logging in to Facebook with this browser. Along with a richer Facebook experience users can update their status, share photos, and send messages directly from the notification bar!

Users will not have to download and install any add on as this feature comes inbuilt in the browser 10.5 for Android

So all other websites will not be able to push notifications to their UC web browser users till another update is announced. We highly recommend adding this functionality.
