To reduce any sense of overwhelming complexity and evolve as a much more user-friendly platform for web push notification, iZooto has been going through a lot of changes recently.
With the recent launch of the updated API to target individual users, Audience Builder, Campaign Scheduling and iZooto WordPress plugin, we are adding few more updates to this web push platform. We recently rolled out local time zone based push notifications. This feature enabled you to drill down all the time zones that your target audience belongs to and schedule a campaign according to their time zone. Read more here.
But, none of you as our consumers, were able to choose and modify your own time zone anything different that IST (which was the default timezone for all our users). To make it easier we now capture your relative time zones at the time of registration with iZooto web push. Not just that, you can also edit your time zone later on under ‘My Profile’ section.

This is how you can set this up-
iZooto web push notification allows you to engage your users on multiple platforms to engage and retain users. To extend this support, you can now focus on a particular device on which you want to engage your target audience with your notifications. You can choose to enable your notifications on mobile or desktop (or maybe both) and this will be applicable to all your push campaigns.
There will be times when you would want to focus only mobile users, for those instances you can disable notification on desktops and vice-versa and this feature at iZooto will definitely help you in that.
Follow these simple steps to use this feature for your notifications-
In addition to the platform support, another feature under ’Notification Settings’ includes TTL (time to live). Here you can monitor the user interaction duration for your web notifications and your users. You can set the TTL by switching on the ‘auto-hide’ feature for your push notifications. Enabling this will automatically hide your notifications after 20 seconds if no interaction has taken place between the user and the notification. Your notification will disappear from your user’s device without getting dismissed from the user’s end.
