Microsoft Edge Push Notifications by iZooto

iZooto Push notifications are now supported on Microsoft edge browser, helping you expand your reach and a chance to delight new users. With this update, users coming from Edge to your website will be prompted to subscribe to your notifications, helping you build your subscriber base quicker.

 

What is it that you need to do?


You don't have to make any changes from your end for the opt-in to start appearing on Microsoft Edge.


By including yourself in the beta list, your visitors coming from Microsoft Edge will see the subscription prompt when they visit your website.

 


Here is how a notification subscription prompt would appear on Microsoft Edge Desktop-



Unlike other browsers, the subscription prompt on Edge appears on the bottom of the screen.


Note: Web push notifications is supported on Edge starting from version 17.17134 on Windows

Head here to get all specifications. The notification on the desktop would appear at the bottom right corner of the screen, similar to the notifications that appear on Chrome and Firefox.

Follow-up Releases will have

1. Browser wise subscriber count on the dashboard.

2. Full support with pushing notifications to subscribers of the browsers will be released with the transition to FCM from GCM. FCM transition will start rolling out from next month.
