Alibaba’s UC Browser is the 4th most popular browser followed by Chrome, Safari, and Firefox respectively. Whereas it ranks 2nd in the market share in India. With a considerable amount of traffic flowing in from UC browser, iZooto is now supporting push notifications on UC browser.


Now, the users browsing your website using UC browser can subscribe to web push notifications as well. Which means that you can now reach out to a wider audience with your notifications.

 

What is it that you need to do?

You don't have to make any changes from your end for the opt-in to start appearing on UC browser.


By including yourself in the beta list, your visitors coming from the UC browser will see the subscription prompt when they visit your website.

2. Full support with pushing notifications to subscribers of the browsers will be released with the transition to FCM from GCM. FCM transition will start rolling out from next month.
